River Walk is a family owned California estate that handcrafts wines for everyday adventurers. Since the early 1900s, their journey began from Italy to the untamed lands California, where they’ve embraced sustainable and eco-friendly farming practices. These classic expressions reflect the history, passion and beauty of this special region.

Vinification

To preserve the purity of the fruit, the grapes were gently destemmed, ensuring only whole berries entered the fermenter. After a five-day cold soak, fermentation was initiated with William Selyem yeast, prized for enhancing fruit-forward expression. The wine spent 15 days on skins, achieving the ideal structure and tannin profile before being drained and pressed. Aged for 18 months in 40% medium-plus toast French oak, this maturation process imparts refined structure, luxurious texture, and a subtle sweetness that enhances the wine’s depth and length.
