Background
The Racing Series wines are ultra premium blends from some of the finest
vineyard sites in Napa, Sonoma, and the Central Coast. All are crafted to
the highest standards in our Adobe Road Winery.
Barrels
80% New French Oak, 20% Used French Oak.
Tasting notes
Dark, strong, and full bodied yet approachable, CARBON comes charging o ff
the line with opaque black color in the glass. Aromas of black cherries, licorice,
and deeply toasted oak seamlessly transition to flavors of ripe plum and
crushed blackberries, finishing with sculpted tannins and violet accents.
Vintage
2021 was a beautiful vintage across Sonoma County and Napa Valley. Grapes
enjoyed a lengthy growing season with plenty of sunshine and moderate
conditions throughout harvest.
Winemaking
Polished, balanced, intense: CARBON is a blend of the deepest, darkest wines
we could make. Weaving these bold varieties together with a delicious
approachability is quite a challenge - but we like challenges.
