Tasting notes
Chateau Roc de Minvieille has an intense and bright red ruby robe. The nose reveals delicate notes of black cherry enhanced by toasty aromas. This beautiful Bordeaux is suave and well bodied, with an elegant fruity finish.
Estate
Chateau Roc de Minvieille has been built in 1610 and bought by Philippe de Minvieille in the 18th century,. Louis de Minvielle inherited from the estate and worked hard to develop the wine production. The Chateau has been confiscated and sold during the French Revolution. The Gardas family bought it early 19th century and still runs it today, producing racy Bordeaux wines that will perfectly pair a cheese platter, roasted lamb and duck confit.
