El Vínculo stands as a tribute to the union of the two Castiles and the legacy of the family's grandparents. Located in the heart of Campo de Criptana, the estate was founded to prove that La Mancha could produce wines of world-class quality.
Notably, El Vínculo marked the family’s first foray into white wines with the creation of Alejairén, a varietal that has become one of the most prestigious and highly valued white wines in the region.
While the estate continues the family tradition of working with Tempranillo, it also highlights the rare Airén grape. These vines are particularly special, sourced from exceptional pre-phylloxera vineyards that yield fruit of extraordinary character and depth.
This spirit of innovation is a hallmark of Familia Fernández Rivera. Recently celebrating 50 years as industry pioneers, the dream of Alejandro Fernández and Esperanza Rivera has expanded into an international benchmark across 70 countries. Today, led by three generations of women, El Vínculo continues to blend artisanal heritage with the bold, entrepreneurial vision that has defined the brand for half a century.
