Margarett Romer Parducci is the inspiration for this collection of wines. She has always been a hands-on, hard-working woman who is deeply connected to her environment and the outdoors. Her deep connection with nature and her surroundings made them more beautiful. Margarett’s passion for growing flowers and vegetables was the envy of her friends and family. A sheep rancher for four decades, she managed to carve out her own identity as she supported her husband, John Parducci’s, life-long winemaking career.
Margarett’s wines are made by her grandson Rich Parducci of McNab Ridge Winery. He continues their family tradition of extraordinary wines to be enjoyed with family and friends. Both of Rich’s grandparent’s influence is evident is the wines and small family winery in Mendocino County.

Tasting Notes
The newest varietal to the Margarett’s Vineyard family of wines is this Petite Sirah. Aromas of dark berries, spice, violets and mocha are followed through on the palate with the addition of spicy plum. Vanilla & toasty oak from the winemaker’s proprietary blend of French & American oak are present but not intrusive. The wine has moderate tannins and is full-bodied with a luscious finish
