Notes of cherry and chocolate combine with sweet toasty oak for this full-flavored wine with a long, complex finish.
Food pairing
This intense but smooth red wine will accompany grilled meats, vegetables and other well-seasoned foods. Perfect wine for prime rib, baby back ribs, chili and flank steak.
Vinification
Fermented in stainless steel tanks at 86 degrees F., the wine was transferred to Missouri oak barrels. 100% of the wine underwent malolactic fermentation in the barrel.
Wood aged for approximately a year then fined and filtered before bottling.
