Tasting notes
This delicious Chambolle-Musigny is a rich, juicy wine with classic floral-fruity tints in taste and aroma. The wine has an intense ruby color. The rich tones of black fruits and berries in the exquisite aroma of wine gradually give way to shades of flowers, spices, earth and leather. Perfectly balanced, round, rich taste of the wine reveals juicy notes of ripe fruits, berry nuances of blackberries and currants, seductive tones of spices, mocha and light woody hints in a long aftertaste.
Estate
Founded in 1885, Domaine Roux is currently operated by the 4th and 5th generation of the Roux family. With vineyard holdings throughout the Côte d'Or, the Domaine is situated in the Saint Aubin village of the Côte de Beaune. This historic property maintains one of the most incredible libraries of older vintages. No one in Burgundy has such an impressive collection of verticals from such a diverse array of villages, single vineyards and Premier Cru wines.
