Chateau Notton 2011
Chateau Notton
A great Margaux wine that is produced on part of Brane-Cantenac’s estate, Château Notton reveals the finesse and the complexity of Margaux's greatest soils. It owes its remarkable fruit notes to the youth of that part of the vineyard. Henri Lurton and Christophe Capdeville use all their winemaking skills to bring out its best qualities. It is aged in oak barrels for one year and racked every three
months like his elder brothers.
Tasting notes
Intense garnet color. Woody nose with roasted, coffee, moka and black fruit aromas. In the mouth, the wine is well balanced, round, rich and generous, with mellowed and silky tannins.
