Colour: Rich colour sparkles with many reflections
Nose: One of a fully ripened Cabernet Sauvignon with elegant notes of blackcurrent. Touch of spicy and vanilla. Palate: Round and full bodied, underlying foundation is tight, but remains lively and fresh with long notes of picked fruits in its nose.

Wine
The first vineyard on this site can be traced back to the 12th century, though it was not until the arrival of Thomas Michel Lynch in 1740 that the vineyard, which figures in the 1855 classification, existed as we know it today. The château was bought by the MAIF insurance company in 1988, and in 1992 they handed over the running of the estate and the Presidency of the Board of Directors to Andre Lurton.
Andre Lurton stepped down in favour of his daughter, Christine Lurton de Caix, who today runs the estate.
