Tasting notes
Aromatic, smooth, fruit-driven and delicious with notes of violets, rose petals, red cherries and plums. This is complemented by subtle spices and vanilla from gentle oak aging. Only 60% of the final cuvée is aged in oak, 40% in stainless steel. All the grapes are carefully handpicked and sorted, only 3300 cases made per year.

Founded in 1967, Château Pontet Teyssier is a boutique family owned estate that boasts vines averaging 45 years old, planted to Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The soils of limestone and clay are perfect for these 2 varieties, and well-known for producing top quality Saint-Émilion Grand Cru.
