Tasting notes
The colour is deep, opaque, beautifully clear. The first impression on the eye is one of density. In the palate, the texture is velvety and suave. There is good tension and freshness in the remarkably long finish. The oak is extremely well integrated, giving way to black fruit and violet notes. This vintage is characterized by its round, unctuous mid-palate, finishing on that little touch of wicked tastiness particularly appreciated at La Pointe.
This is a very well balanced vintage that will soon offer great pleasure to consumers but will keep perfectly over the next 15 years.
