Since 1914, Chateau Bel-Air has belonged to the family
Sudrat-Melet, passing on from generation to generation
generation. Today, the property is managed by
Madame Melet and her daughter Véronique.
In 1998, the idea was born to produce a second wine according to
the same winemaking techniques as the first, but
aged in cement vats: L’Ermitage de Bel-Air.
Tasting notes
A very concentrated, dark ruby color.
On the nose, aromas of ripe black fruits with notes
spicy and chocolatey.
A powerful and harmonious mouth - aromas of
blackcurrant and blueberry along the length.
Vinification
Vinification in thermoregulated vats for 21 days.
Aging: part for 6 months under staves and part
left for 12 months in barrels.
