Freedom Hill Vineyard is located in the foothills of the Oregon Coast Range, toward the western edge of the Willamette Valley near the Eola-Amity AVA.
The grapes from Freedom Hill make their way into the wine portfolios of some of the most esteemed, artistic wineries in the Willamette Valley.
Tasting notes
Strawberry, cola, Dr. Pepper, lavender, candied coconut, cinnamon, granola, caramel, sweet forest floor, honey, watermelon.
Vinification
Purple Hands is a low intervention, purity-driven winery. Ferments are a mixture of techniques: native yeasts, and some commercial strains as needed. 25% whole cluster for 2023. Skin macerations are vintage-dependent styles. Wines are bottled unfined and unfiltered to retain the honesty of the vineyard and the vintage.
