From a distillery dating back to 1885, Kentucky 10 is a small-batch wheated bourbon from the 10th oldest distillery in Kentucky! Awarded a 92 Point gold medal, Kentucky 10 is a straight bourbon aged and bottled at the historic DSP-KY-10 distillery. It is produced from 100% Kentucky grown corn from within a 50-mile radius of the distillery. The wheated mashbill adds sweetness and approachability while the limestone in the Kentucky water adds minerals, filters out impurities and promotes ideal fermentation. Distilled in a classic Vendome copper still that crafts the softest, smoothest whiskey possible every time. Kentucky 10 Straight Bourbon is made for smooth sipping or as the perfect addition to your next cocktail.
Distiller
Established in 1885, DSP-KY-10 is literally the 10th oldest registered distillery in the entire state of Kentucky. That includes all the distilleries that have ever been registered in the state, including those which have come and gone over the years, smaller-scale distilleries and all the well-known brands that continue to thrive across the Bluegrass State. DSP-KY-10 went through fire, Prohibition, multiple owners, abandonment, and a long period of dormancy before being revitalized in 2014. Two years of renovation and modernization later, the distillery was back up and running, producing more than 90,000 barrels of bourbon a year. With that much history comes a lot of pride, which is why the eighth-generation Master Distiller and his team have spent the last five-plus years creating a bourbon whiskey that supersedes even their own expectations.
