Brilliant pale gold with shimmering straw highlights. The nose opens with an elegant tension. Immediate notes of crisp green apple, lemon verbena, and white peach from the earlier harvest blend seamlessly with deeper aromas of ripe Bosc pear, wet flint, and a delicate hint of orange blossom brought on by the later pick. A subtle, chalky minerality underscores the entire bouquet. Beautifully layered and dynamic on the palate. The September 17 harvest drives a vibrant, energetic core of citrus-driven acidity and stony minerality that cuts across the mid-palate. This is beautifully countered by the September 30 block, which introduces a textured, satin-like weight featuring flavors of fleshier stone fruits, lemon curd, and a touch of honeycomb. Long, clean, and remarkably focused. The wine concludes with a refreshing wave of saline minerality and a lingering echo of bright citrus zest that invites another sip.

The heavy maritime fog and cooling winds from the nearby San Pablo Bay allow for a long, slow growing season, preserving vibrant natural acidity while developing complex flavor profiles.
