Tasting note

Colour: Deep ruby red colour with garnet reflection turning orange with prolonged ageing.
Bouquet: Intense and characteristic bouquet of strawberry and violet, earthy, with wild red berries, underwood notes, tobacco and licorice.
Taste: Harmonious, dry, savory, complex and persistent.

Food pairing

Ideal with roasts and game, pasta with meat sauce and any kind of well flavoured dishes. Serve at room temperature.

Vinification and Refinement

Chianti Classico is one of the greatest wines in the world and it bears the name of the land from which it arises, in compliance with strict standards that protect and guarantee the quality. Our Chianti Classico is produced from specially selected Sangiovese grapes from the best vineyards in Chianti Classico, the most ancient and quality Chianti area. Completely mature grapes are crushed right after the harvest. The primary fermentation takes place in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks with a skin contact process of around 10/15 days. When the fermentation is complete the wine is pressed and stored in Slavonian oak casks where it performs malolactic fermentation and ages for a minimum period of 24 months. It completes its refinement in bottles for a minimum period of 3 months.
