The 2023 Barbaresco is bright, elegant and super refined. Crushed red berry fruit, cedar, sweet pipe tobacco and orange peel are nicely lifted. Brisk acids pull it all together on the close. This mid-weight Barbaresco is impeccably balanced and classy from start to finish.

The organic Ceretto 2023 Barbaresco has a tight and linear personality with medium-light concentration that is reinforced by a refreshing 13.5% alcohol content. Aged for one year in used 300-liter French oak barrels followed by another year in French oak casks before bottling, it favors precision and finesse. This is an informal and more accessible expression of Barbaresco that makes perfect sense alongside the estate's more-structured single-vineyard wines.
