The 2018 Gigondas Dentellis—a blend of 85% Grenache and 15% Syrah—ages in a mix of foudres and demi-muids. Espresso, black olive and even hints of pumpernickel and chocolate give this a decidedly dark flavor profile. It's full-bodied and concentrated, giving the impression of density on the mid-palate, then finishes with decent acidity.

After more than 160 years, Ogier has grown to become one of the leading producers in the Rhône Valley. Most of its land holdings are in the Southern Rhône area producing wines from Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Gigondas, Vacqueyras and Lirac. The Estate also makes small but exceptional bottlings from parcels within the most notable appellations of the Northern Rhône - Crozes-Hermitage and Côte Rôtie. Ogier’s wines are an ode to finesse, elegance and freshness.
This red pairs well with tasty dishes and meat, casseroles.
Ruby color, elegant and complex nose with aromas of fruits, kirsch and hints of brushwood and menthol notes. Round and full-bodied, and at the same time very elegant and quite fresh. Long and fruity finish with hints of vanilla
