Background
This exceptional cuvee is produced in Languedoc, north
of the Camargue, in a terroir blessed by the Gods, close
to the Mediterranean Sea, in the Gard department. The
vineyards are located on white limestone slopes near
Nimes.
Tasting notes
The wine has a deep, brilliant black color. The aromas explode into a sublime bouquet of black
fruits, cherry, blackberry and blackcurrant, accompanied by gourmet vanilla, rum and gingerbread notes.
Smooth and fragrant on the palate, with a delicious finish.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at night in the coolest hours
of the day. After de-stemming, they go directly into vats,
where they macerate gently for several weeks. Extraction
techniques are very gentle. The tannins are very ripe and
silky. A fine, delicate oak finish completes the complexity
of the aromatic palette. Aging lasts 6 months.
