Estate
The estate was first acquired by Jean Noel Antoniol's grandfather, an Italian immigrant, in 1920, and later taken over by his father in 1956. In 2016, his two sons, Aldo and Gaetan, joined the family estate. The vineyard is located on the lieu-dit "Gaigne", with several plots situated in the lieu-dit "Les Gentis", set on one of the highest hillsides of the commune, at an altitude of 125 meters between the Garonne and Dordogne rivers, with a north-south exposure.
Terroir
The vineyards are located on both sides of a geodetic point, with approximately 25 hectares on the north-facing slopes and 15 hectares on the south-facing slopes. The soils are predominantly clay-based, with some clay-limestone and clay-silt areas. Sustainable vineyard management including double Guyot pruning, green harvesting, grass cover, and leaf thinning.
Vinification
Quality control is carried out by the Soussac Laboratory (Gironde Chamber of Agriculture). Blending and ageing take place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with regular tastings conducted alongside the winemaker.
