The Marlborist
Stu Dudley, Rich Ellis, and Dave Nash established The Marlborist between the snow-capped Southern Alps and the Pacific Ocean at the northern tip of New Zealand’s South Island. It was here they grew their knowledge and honed their craft, working alongside some of the original pioneers of the Marlborough region.
Named after the place of its creation, The Marlborist encapsulates the hard work, dedication, and deep reverence that their predecessors and fellow neighbors poured into establishing Marlborough as one of the premier winegrowing regions in the world.
Each bottle offers a window into the unique elements of Marlborough that the founders experienced on their journey to evolve and craft the region's very best. Drawing on years of experience with powerhouse vineyards that paved the way before them, these friends and co-founders have directed everything they’ve learned toward a single ambition: creating a benchmark wine for the region.
