Description

Planted in 1998, Chardonnay was grown in a prime vineyard in the cool climate of the Russian River Valley. Matured for 12 months in French oak barrels creating a wine with depth and complexity. Duxinaro wines are produced from small three to seven-acre single vineyards in top regions. This has required Angelo and his team to re-think and invest in ways to handle small production efficiently; hence, the name – a play on the phrase “ducks in a row” – and the great label.

Tasting notes

A premium oaked Chardonnay, Duxinaro has roasted pineapple and toasty aromas with more lime and peaches on the palate. It’s a dry wine with layers of flavors and is satisfyingly tasty with great persistence in the mouth.
