Description

The Wild Fighter pays ode to California’s strongest symbol of pride and strength, the Grizzly Bear. First featured in the 1846 Bear Revolt, the Grizzly Bear was featured on the flag used by American Insurgents looking to form California as its own independent country in modern day Sonoma Country. Their bravery led to the creation of the “California Republic”, which would in turn evolve into the California we recognize today. While the Grizzly Bear itself hasn’t been seen in California for nearly a century, its spirit lives on throughout the region.

Tasting notes

Ruby red with hints of plum. Aromas of raspberry tart, blueberry, dried herbs. On the palate, bold layers of blackberry, strawberry, and boysenberry, give way to flavors of cocoa and spice. A full bodied wine, balanced by refreshing acidity on the long finish.
