Also youthful and unevolved, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Audace is 100% Cabernet and offers barrel sample-like blue fruits, spice, and chocolate notes. Rich, medium to full-bodied, with ripe tannins, hide bottles for 3-4 years, and it will hopefully develop more elegance. Nevertheless, it has ample potential.

Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Audace comes charging out of the gate with pronounced creme de cassis, stewed plums and redcurrant jelly scents plus suggestions of baked bell pepper, menthol, black olives and cedar chest. Full-bodied, the palate offers firm, rugged tannins and a good concentration of herb-sparked black fruit preserves flavors, finishing long and oak laced.
