Vintage
2014 was an excellent vintage in Sonoma County. We had a relatively early start to the growing season, but moderate temperatures and consistently dry, warm days resulted in ideal ripening of the fruit. The grapes were harvested October 2nd to October 11th, 2014 at optimum ripeness, and then fermented in 100% stainless steel tanks with regular pump-overs. Once fermentation was complete, the wine was aged in French, American and Hungarian oak (30% new) for 22 months.

Estate
Roth Estate is committed to making wines with the truest and best expression of the diverse and idylli growing conditions in Sonoma County. Our 2014 Sonoma County Merlot is focused and well-structured,
opening with beautiful aromas of blackberry, current and sweet spice. Rich, mouth-filling tannins add structure and depth while complimenting notes of dark fruit. Chocolate, cedar, plum and black cherry
flavors glide across the palate followed by a lingering finish.
