Currants, plums, chocolate and sweet spices on the nose. Medium-to full-bodied with ripe tannins and fresh acidity. Juicy, fruity and chocolatey. Pretty finish.

Theorize is a brand that was created out of an idea to full heartedly produce a brand that had great price to quality ratio, and we did just that. That idea became a theory and that theory became reality. In turn we Theorized! In order to accomplish this Theory we needed a really good winemaker. One who could seek out the fruit and then create a beautiful wine that over delivered for the price point. That consulting winemaker is Jean Hoefliger. He consults for Theorize along with numerous other brands across the world. Jean’s training has taken him from Switzerland to South Africa to Bordeaux and now California working at some of the most prestigious wineries in the world. Jean has an amazing ability to see potential in things that most cannot. Theorize sources fruit from all over the Napa Valley as well as California to make the best wine that we can possibly make year after year. We focus our efforts mostly in the Napa Valley. Tasting notes
Dark ruby in color with touches of royal red and garnet. On the nose it has beautiful balance of spices like nutmeg, thyme with cherry pie, cedar, vanilla bean, touches of coconut, molasses & gingerbread. On the palate it shows a fresh but lush entrance evolving on ripe sweet fruit like cherry preserve macerated strawberries lingering on tannins and cinnamon.
Vinification
Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Fermented in 100% Stainless Steel fermentation tanks and aged for 12 months in 100% French oak. Only 1000 cases produced.
