Tasting notes
Deep garnet-purple in color, it charges out of the gate with energetic scents of warm cassis, blackberry pie, boysenberries and wild blueberries plus hints of mocha, black truffles, fertile loam and lavender, with a waft of Chinese five spice. Full-bodied, rich, concentrated and decadent with a velvety texture and fantastic freshness, it finishes long and layered.

The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon is aged 22 months in 100% new French oak. An opaque purple hue matches the incredibly dense layered dark fruit of this powerful wine. Blackberry, boysenberry, plumb, cassis and mocha aromas are followed by subtle notes of anise, tobacco, and baking spice. A deeply structured palate with graceful tannins and an inordinately lingering finish with wet stone and mint as a parting aromatic gift.
