Technical Details

Ageing

Aged exclusively in stainless steel with a brief maturation on fine lees for 3 months, this wine gained added depth and roundness while retaining Sauvignon Blanc’s hallmark vibrancy.

Estate

Welcome to Fox Lane Vineyards, The Home of California, Family Owned Estate Wines. Classic Expressions with Clever California Taste. Since immigrating from Italy in the early 1900’s, we’ve committed to sustainable and environmentally friendly agricultural practices in order to provide great wines at excellent prices. Our current offerings include top-quality wines all from women-led, single estates and vineyards throughout Northern California. All of our wines are hand-crafted and go through traditional fermentation. We make wines that we like to drink, whether it’s for a big family gathering or a quiet night at home. We’re delighted to be able to share our long-time passion with you.

Food pairing

Perfect alongside fresh oysters, citrus-marinated shrimp, or goat cheese crostini. Its freshness also makes it a versatile companion to summer salads, sushi, and light pasta dishes with herbs.

Tasting notes

Bright and lively, this Sauvignon Blanc opens with zesty aromas of citrus, passionfruit, and green apple, layered with subtle notes of lemongrass and white blossom. The palate is crisp and refreshing, with a long mineral finish that highlights its Lodi origins.

Vinification

After harvest, the grapes were gently pressed and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve their delicate aromatics. A cool fermentation with selected yeasts spanned several weeks, ensuring crisp acidity and expressive varietal character. Post-fermentation, the wine was racked off heavy lees and lightly fined for purity and freshness.
