Vineyard
Known for its juicy, boldly flavored wines, Lodi is Zinfadel country – you can see why our Zinsane Zinfandel couldn't come from anywhere else. Vineyards are situated amongst the rolling hills of Lodi, with warm, dry summers and relatively cool winters, Zinfandel thrives in this region. Such warm days attribute to a more fruit forward style, with bold fruit characteristics and dynamic flavor profiles. Wet winters, with ample rain flow through the spring maintain the balance necessary to offset such warm days during the summer months.
Winemaking
Traditional winemaking techniques were used on this wine to fully express the terroir of Lodi. These techniques combined with some barrel aging show a fruit-forward style with layers of spice.
