This 2013 Guenoc Petite Sirah from Lake County delivers captivating aromas of dark berries and spices on the nose. Smooth and perceptively sweet on the entry, this wine has extremely full tannins that create a soft mouth feel. All the while, the intense blueberry and vanilla flavors linger with a bit of a rustic, tannic finish. Enjoy this wine with a grilled rib-eye and roasted root vegetables.

Located in the north foothill of Howell Mountain in Lake County, these vines are fortunate to grow on compacted ash soils which are ideal for Bordeaux varieties. The warm days and cool nights that are indicative of the Guenoc Valley bring wonderful maturity to our Petite Sirah.
