Tasting notes
The 2014 growing season was consistent and long overall. Warm summer temperatures during the day kept the acids high while still bringing the fruit to optimal maturity. Our 2014 Sauvignon Blanc was fermented in stainless steel tanks to showcase its natural aromas. It displays beautiful notes of lemon grass, tropical fruit, and pineapple that lead to a smooth, rich mouth-feel with crisp acidity and a long finish of minerality.
Guenoc Valley
Guenoc Valley lies sixty miles north of San Francisco - a breathtaking panorama of oak-strewn grasslands, rolling green hills, craggy outcroppings and perfect volcanic cinder cones, painted with the shimmer of a dozen azure lakes. The 21,349-acre Langtry Estate is one of the Largest contiguous private land holdings in California, and among the most beautiful.
