The bright berry flavors and spiciness which originates from our prime Santa Maria vineyard have resulted in a fruit forward and eminently drinkable Merlot. After aging the wine in 60-gallon American oak barrels for 11 months, this wine has a deliberate merlot structure with proper amounts of tannins and viscosity. This 2014 merlot is showing beautifully now and will age nicely over the next 3-5 years.
