Description

Margarett Romer Parducci is the inspiration for this collection of wines. She has always been a hands-on, hard-working woman who is deeply connected to her environment and the outdoors. Her deep connection with nature and her surroundings made them more beautiful. Margarett’s passion for growing flowers and vegetables was the envy of her friends and family. A sheep rancher for four decades, she managed to carve out her own identity as she supported her husband, John Parducci’s, life-long winemaking career.

Margarett’s wines are made by her grandson Rich Parducci of McNab Ridge Winery. He continues their family tradition of extraordinary wines to be enjoyed with family and friends. Both of Rich’s grandparent’s influence is evident is the wines and small family winery in Mendocino County

Tasting notes

Margarett’s Vineyard Merlot is a silky, elegant and supple wine with aromas and flavors of ripe black cherries, plums and soft mocha followed by toasty oak and undertones of baking spices. This pretty Merlot pairs beautifully with many food. Try it with pâtés or other charcuterie, pork roasts, cheesy gratins and even hamburgers. 92% Merlot, 5% Zinfandel, 3% Petite Sirah
