A restrained and traditional expression. Iron, spiced red berries, plums and blood oranges on the nose. This is quite juicy on the palate, with fine, firm tannins and a zesty finish. Some orange peel at the end. Drink or hold.

Harvest
The harvest occurs during october. The grapes are picked in 15 kg boxes.

Hacienda Lopez de Haro is a wine of intense colour and pleasant bouquet, in which the nuances of mature fruit stand out. In the mouth is is soft, expressive and elegant, combining a fruity character with the notes lent by the cask, in perfect balance.

Hacienda Lopez de Haro is a round, pleasant and expressive wine, made from the Tempranillo, red Garnacha and Graciano grape varieties and aged for more than 3 years in oak and bottle.
Vineyard
Old Vineyards selected from different areas in La Rioja.
Vinification
Produced in 30,000 kg vats. Fermentation occurs at a temperature of 28 degrees celsius, and maceration is extended for 2 weeks. Aged in French and American oak barrels during 18 months. A subsequent refinement is achieved in bottle until placed in the market, with approximate aging of two years between both barrel and bottle.
