Ripe fruit aromas abound on the nose of this wine that spent 12 months in oak barrels. The wine exudes aromas of black currant, cola, blackberry, pomegranate and dried-red-cherry skin. Silky in texture, relaxed tannins melt into the finish and offer some additional, steeped-black-tea flavors that enhance the tasting experience.

From the dry-farmed, 43 year old Melera plot grown at 675m, this organic Monastrell offers intense dark fruit, raspberry, and a leafy lift. Firm tannins frame the wine which is well-structured with stony minerality and freshness. Aged 12 months in French and American oak, it's concentrated but vibrant and shows Monastrell's bolder side.

Our desire to surpass ourselves every day, our commitment to traditional vine-growing methods, and the care and attention we show for the land that delivers us its fruits, are an integral part of our way of life.
In Altos de Luzon, we pay homage to the special character of the Jumilla land. Its harsh climate and average altitude of 650 metres bring about dry and rugged conditions. In these lands, the Monastrell grape finds its inspiration and its reason for being. This is where it excels and performs at its optimal level. Jumilla's wine-growing history, like its people, is defined by this landscape: on the outside rough and hardy, but inside full of beauty and riches.
