Rich and aromatic, this offers a nose of dried dark fruit, tar, dried violets, fig paste and a hint of nutmeg. The palate is mouth-coating and velvety, with a savory, cocoa-laced edge and dusty tannins. Full but not heavy, with mellow fruitiness in the finish. Drink or hold.
