James Suckling 95pt

A balanced and refined chardonnay with a solid but subtle core of dried mango, apple, lemon and flint. Focused and poised. Drink or hold.

Decanter 93pt

Bright sweet grapefruit nose; the wine has a pure, Alpine vibrancy. A generous palate of exotic apples, toasted nuts and lemons. Elegant and refined.<br> Silver Medal 2026 Decanter World Wine Awards

Luca Maroni 98pt

The bouquet of this wine is truly stunning: fruit and flower in the utmost harmony of intensity, fragrance, and persuasiveness. Admirable olfactory and oxidative integrity: not an oenological flaw, but simply pure sap. A succession of hints of banana, pear, and vanilla, whose brilliance and finesse evoke the aromatic sweetness of talcum powder and cedar. An absolute champion among the finest Italian whites, also for its supreme concentration, its spherical, wonderfully structured, and powerfully smooth flavor. A true demonstration of technical strength and the luminous nature of its glorious grape. Hats off.

Estate

Originally from Burgundy, the Chardonnay grape is now commonly cultivated in the Aosta region. The noble tannins from selected oaks (toasted in " chauffes" and steam treated), with first and second fermentation on the lees, and continual bâtonnages, give this wine a decidedly complex character. Today Les Crêtes Chardonnay Cuvée Bois is an awarded-winning Italian wine and internationally recognized for its elegance and style.
