Reviews
Decanter 96
Keen floral, tropical fruit and buttered toast aromas soak into the voluptuous palate and lap cheerfully against the juicy texture and lingering salted citrus finish.

James Suckling 96
A deep and rich chardonnay with lots of dried apple and honey, as well as honeysuckle and dried lilacs. Full-bodied and layered with lots of phenolics and richness. Some caramel, too, yet it remains fresh throughout. So much dried lemon at the end. Intense and contrastive. Fantastic. Better to decant. Drink now or hold.

Technical Details
Background
Originally from Burgundy, the Chardonnay grape is now commonly cultivated in the Aosta region. The noble tannins from selected oaks (toasted in " chauffes" and steam treated), with first and second fermentation on the lees, and continual bâtonnages, give this wine a decidedly complex character. Today Les Crêtes Chardonnay Cuvée Bois is an awarded-winning Italian wine and internationally recognized for its elegance and style.
