Tasting notes

Bright ruby red colour. Characteristic flavour of crushed berries, cherries and hints of tobacco Full-bodied with round tannins and a long finish.

Vinification

This fine wine is mostly made from selected Sangiovese grapes from selected Tuscan vineyards with sandy, clayey and calcareous soil. Following the old traditional vinification method, completely mature grapes are harvested from vineyards and crushed almost immediately. The wine is aged for 12 months in small French oak and further refined in bottle. It is enjoyable now and will continue to develop for 5 years or more with proper cellaring.
