With a very ornate label design offset by a cobalt-blue background color, the Barone Ricasoli 2021 Chianti Classico Riserva Rocca Guicciarda has a hint of campfire or spent ember behind ripe aromas of dark cherry and blackberry. That dark flavor profile also sees hints of bitter chocolate, grilled rosemary and baked plum. You also get salty minerality on the close.
