Slightly inclined and halfway between Noto and Modica, the south oriented vineyards of Contrada Graffetta belong to the municipality of lspica (Ragusa). The vineyards face the Mediterranean, stretching out over the sea from those chalky grounds that distinguishthe first spurs of the lblei Mounts. The climate, warm, dry, with a constant breeze, together with the sea-mitigated temperature, turn this territory into the natural and optimal production area for winemaking grape varieties.In addition to the area's native Nero d 'Avola the great poten tial of the territory gets its highest expression through the Syrah, where the minerality of the soil enhances the concent ration and the fruit.

Tasting Notes

Deep dark red color; rich and complex aroma with notes of black pepper and nutmeg. In the mouth it displays a rich and varietal-bound taste.
