Roasted mushrooms, olives, baked black fruit and gravy on the nose. It's full-bodied, lightly jammy and sweet-savory in character with well-integrated tannins. Mushroom notes linger.

This great wine reaches high levels of consistency and pleasantness. The abundance of extracts in this sample is revealed through a great concentration in its colour, aroma and flavour. Mouthfeel sensations of creaminess. Complex hints and a long finish. Its extreme pleasantness balances the firm tannins and the marked acidity. The intense and aromatic compositional blackberry is the result of a masterful and respectful winemaking. One of the best red wines of Italy. Hats off.

          Description
Three vineyards marked with a letter on wood so as to identify them. âFâ as in Feudi di San Marzano, a name that is integral to our history. Negroamaro is steeped in history, and in this expression, it becomes particularly velvety and elegant, fleshy and prone to ageing. Malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks and then in French and Caucasian oak barrels for 12 months.

          Estate
In 1962, 19 vine growers from San Marzano, whose families had farmed the land for generations, combined their efforts to establish Cantine San Marzano. Now in this cooperative there are 1200 winegrowers, and it has become one of the most popular and well-known winery from Puglia.

          Tasting notes
Very deep purple red; wide and complex to the nose, with notes of spices, soft fruit and cherry jam.
A full-bodied wine, soft and balanced, rich in fine tannins, with a pleasant long lasting finish.
