A vibrant wine, showing red cherries, strawberries, dried roses, violets and licorice. More elegant than powerful on the palate with medium body, juicy acidity and refined tannins. A bit dusty in the finish but well-balanced.

The 2022 Barbaresco is pliant and expressive, with lovely depth and fine balance. Bright red-toned fruit, orange peel, mint, cinnamon and rose petal are nicely delineated in this attractive mid-weight offering. The 2022 is a stylish entry-level Barbaresco that in this vintage benefits from heat that allowed some of the estate's less well-exposed parcels to ripen well.
