A red with plenty of cherry and berry character. Some watermelon and strawberry, too. Fresh and floral. Medium to full body, firm and chewy tannins and a flavorful finish. It's bright and clean.

Tasting notes

Aromas of juniper, violet, lavender, kirsch and iron mark this solid, densely built red. Shows a core of sweet, ripe fruit, but the structure is showing today as this winds down on the long, licorice, tar and underbrush finish. Aged 38 months, including at least 18 in wood.
