The 2022 Cavaliere pours a bright brick/red color and is savory and herbaceous on the nose, with notes of red cherries, fresh Mediterranean herbs, wildflowers, and dusty earth. Made from Sangiovese, the palate is elegant and silky, with fine tannins, medium-bodied richness, juicy ripeness, and a clean textured finish. A very charming blend, it's versatile and inviting for drinking now or over the next 6-7 years.

James Suckling 93

A fruity and fresh sangiovese with intense aromas of dried flowers and ripe red cherries. Soft and smooth on the palate, with velvety tannins, crisp acidity, savory length and a chalky finish. Medium-bodied, it shows density and structure with a forthright aftertaste.
