Orange blossom, apricot, gooseberry and green apple. Lifted and zingy straight away, this has a burst of energy and liveliness, creamy but also citrus focussed with an enjoyable stony minerality. Balanced and very enjoyable, this has a real personality, still with a touch of austerity that should settle. A different category in terms of white wine style - lime, lemon, bitter pineapple, crunchy and crisp with bite and tang. Great stuff. 14% Viognier completes the blend. Ageing 60% new oak barrels, 40% one year old barrels for six months. Refreshing and moreish.

Attractive and fresh nose of guavas, green mangoes and gooseberries with subtle creaminess. Really fresh, bright and crunchy, with a medium body and a pure, bone-dry and scented finish. A subtle saline tang at the end. Sauvignon blanc, chardonnay, viognier and gros manseng. Drink now or hold.
