Produced by Roux Père & Fils this Chardonnay is a fantastic value. Wine grapes for this vintage were sourced from select sites in the Pays d'Oc and Burgundy wine regions. The wine was fermented in stainless-steel tank and is dry, lovely and linear with fresh apple, pear, mineral and spicy notes balanced with food-friendly acidity on the palate perfect for roast chicken. Roux Père & Fils have been making wines in the Côte d'Or since 1885.

Estate

Founded in 1885, Domaine Roux is currently operated by the 4th and 5th generation of the Roux family. With vineyard holdings throughout the Côte d'Or, the Domaine is situated in the Saint Aubin village of the Côte de Beaune. This historic property maintains one of the most incredible libraries of older vintages. No one in Burgundy has such an impressive collection of verticals from such a diverse array of villages, single vineyards and Premier Cru wines.

Tasting notes

Yellow gold with glowing greenish highlights. The bouquet shows aromas of honeysuckle, lemon-grass, and citrus fruits such as grapefruit and mandarin oranges. The palate is similar with nuances of apples, citrus and light fresh herbs. Crisp and fresh on the finish. Produced by Roux Père & Fils this Chardonnay is a fantastic value.
