If all Cotes-du-Rhones were as good this, then the appellation would have a much better reputation. This deftly combines a full body and ample velvety tannins with a generous red fruit character plus hot earth and spice nuances. Excellent balance in the long, surprisingly elegant finish. Drink or hold.

Aromas of violet blossom, black raspberry, and dried cherry lift from a glass rounded out with red currant. The palate is energetic with youthful tannins that deliver a barrage of flavor including complimentary savory elements that fill out the finish.
