Food pairing

Excellent as an aperitif or along with river fishes, crayfish gratin or even some creamy chicken. Best served at 12 degrees Celcius or 53 degrees Fahrenheit.

Tasting notes

Brilliant yellowish straw color introduces the vibrant aroma of ripe peach, apricot and even a hint of violet. The flavor is punctuated with ripe white peach, exotic fruit like mango, very pleasant and full with light viscosity and balance. Little Sheep Viognier is a very refreshing wine that yields both finesse and a pleasurable lingering experience.

Vineyard

Our vineyard covers the Southern Ardeche, from the right bank of the Rhone River to the Cevennes Mountains. Viognier grapes are found on limestone or siliceous soils, preferably on our well exposed hillslopes or on selected terraces. This is where Viognier can reach its best maturity.
