All Syrah from granitic, higher elevation soils and raised all in demi-muids, the 2021 Cotes Du Roussillon Villages Lesquerde Rectificando Invenies brings a shocking amount of fruit and depth while staying perfectly balanced. Cassis, darker berries, herbes de Provence, and ground pepper, as well as a hint of violets, emerge on the nose, and it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, a concentrated, powerful mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and a great finish.
